What procurement officers ask before issuing
Department / unit procurement?
Email tac@backper.com — our tactical team includes 2 former NCOs and a department procurement officer. Cleared for FOUO comms, reply within 4 hours, Mon–Fri.

Do you offer NSN cataloging?
Yes. Above MOQ 500 we can NSN-catalog a specific spec — including DLA assignment for US DoD procurement. Lead time on a new NSN is 90 days from order; once cataloged, re-orders flow through normal Backper channels.

What MOLLE/PALS standard do you use?
MIL-W-43668 1″ webbing on 1.5″ spacing, bartacked every 1.5″ — the original PALS spec. Cross-compatible with every major accessory maker (Eagle, ATS, Tasmanian Tiger, Mystery Ranch, ITW). We test attachment retention to 4× body-weight load.

Are these export-controlled?
Civilian tactical packs ship globally without restriction. NSN-cataloged DoD variants and IR-suppressing fabrics are subject to ITAR / EAR / NLR depending on the spec and destination — we screen every export-controlled order against current US, EU, UK lists before quoting.

Can you do custom hardware in coyote / OD?
Yes. ITW Nexus, Duraflex, and AustriAlpin all stock matching coyote, OD, and black. Pantone-matched hardware requires custom tooling (~$1,800 one-time) and adds 28 days to lead time. Available in volume above 1,000 units.

Do you offer agency / department pricing?
Yes — agency pricing tiers below standard wholesale, starting at 100 units. Includes per-officer name tape, badge ID embroidery, locker-number laser engraving on hardware, Net-60 PO terms, and a 12-month duty-damage replacement program.

Is the IR-treatment compliant with night-vision standards?
Yes. Our IR-suppressing 1000D Cordura® meets MIL-DTL-32439 (NIR reflectance ≤ 35% across 700–900nm). Tested against AN/PVS-14 standard NVGs at 50m. Test reports available under NDA for procurement officers.
